City Inspiration Tokyo

In Tokyo you never sleep and every visit is too short to understand it all. But anyway the city gives you so much visual influences and different inspirations that your mind can not rest  ... Here some of my last trips visuals. Will be back soon for more :).

Maison et Objet Paris 01.2010

Inbetween the fashion shows take the time for a visit to the tradeshow maison et objet (22-26.01.). Hall 5 and 7 (Now) are my favorites and inbetween you find the different trend spaces. So this year its all about the mutations of our society. Global, rapid and visibel, new ecological issues, new demographics, the virtualization of human relationships. Rethinking of relationships to others, to ourselves and the environement. Here my favorites.

AiWeiWei

After the famous Beijing stadium today's the last day of the exhibition in Munich "so sorry" of the chinese artist AiWeiWei. "Creativity is the power to reject the past, to change the status quo, and to seek new potential." and you can feel this everywhere in its art as well as "Liberty is about our rights to question everything". Enjoy the art and your freedom.

Exhibition Martin Margiela 2009

Another Designer who left his own brand, very sad but true. Hope Diesel won't make this just another brand, because Margiela is and should stay special and different. Here some pictures of his exhibition Munich 2009. Enjoy and when you get the chance to see his expo in a city - go for it ! White inspiration and great artistic ideas ! And still love his store designs ... check it out.

ION Orchad Road, Singapore

Singapore has its own way and here another nice mall with all the important luxury stores we know from all other malls around. So just some details I liked and don't miss to go to the food court downstairs it's great !

Art Basel Miami 2009

What could be another inspiration than architecture of course ART. Art Basel Miami is always a great place to get inspired by visuals, crazy ideas and materials. Not easy to digest ... so much to see but just some of my favorites, and dont forget even if you are allowed to make pictures today - but never copy Art !

Architecture Brazil, MAC de Niteroi by Oscar Niemeyer

Fazinated by this city and Oscar Niemeyers building in Niteroi, just as a first input for a great architecture and form as inspiration no 1.

City Center Crystals Las Vegas

A new shopping mall ... so what else you might ask. After seeing a lot of malls in the last years and especially being tired of all of them looking the same and getting lost in some of them, I have to say that this one is somehow different - real daylight and not too big, good choice of brands and ecological architecture and feeling inside.
